Panchakarma :

Panchakarma (Shodhan Chikitsa) is a Ayurvedic treatment that is useful for the cleaning and detoxification of the mind, body and the spirit imbalances.

This constitutes mainly five therapeutic treatments that aid the removal of toxins from the This is a process used to clean the body of toxic materials left by disease, poor nutrition and environmental toxins.

Generally the body has the characteristic gift to process and eliminate waste materials, including the vitiated doshas. But nowadays individual’s repeated faulty and stored (Stale foods)dietary habits, poor exercise patterns, lifestyle,Stressful working hours, overuse of ACs, lack of attention which regulate the body’s homeostasis become disordered. This can lead to the accumulation and spread of toxins throughout the physiology resulting in disease. This waste matter is called ama in Ayurveda. Ama is a foul-smelling, sticky, harmful substance that needs to be completely evacuated from the body.

Panchakarma will remove the excess doshas and correct imbalances in them as well as eradicate the harmful Aama through the body. Panchakarma refines the tissues at a very profound level.

Tri-Dosha:

Ayurveda designates three vitalities Vata, Pitta, Kapha govern our inner and outer environments i.e. movement, alteration, and structure.

 

The Vata Dosha is said to be combination of the air and ether elements. This means for the sake of understanding as it has qualities resembles to these elements.

Vata is very much resembling the wind as it is light, cool, dry. Physically Vata nature experience tend to be light, their bones tinny, their skin and hair dry, speak quickly.

When imbalances person easily have weakness in their immunity & other systems, lose weight, constipated. Mentally Vata nature have a habit of more talk, innovative, eager, flexible, and energetic; Till imbalances become easily jumbled, have difficulty concentrating and decisions makings and becomes insomniac.

 

The Pitta Dosha said to be combination of the fire and water elements. This means for the sake of understanding as it has qualities resembles to these elements. Predominantly Pitta nature the qualities of fire within them.

Pitta tends to hot, sharp, and probing and slightly volatile and oily.. People with a Pitta nature reflect these qualities.

They always feel warm and have little oily skin, strong eyes, and sharp structures. They tend to have adequate weights and decent musculature. Imbalances lean towards infections, skin rashes and diarrhea. Mentally they are competitive, capable, courageous, highly attentive, clear speakers.

 

The Kapha Dosha have predominance of the water and earth elements. Kapha tends to be cool, moist, stable and heavy.

Physically these qualities visible as lustrous, smooth skin, lesser metabolism rate ,dense, heavy bones, They always tend to feel cool.

Imbalances kapha, individuals are prone to weight gain and weaknesses in their lungs and sinuses.

Mentally they are steady natured that reflects in a stable personality (Firm Decisions) handles stress very well, often not even noticing that it exists. Imbalancing the Kapha, results in heavy depression and lethargy result. .

 

Ayurvedic consultants after taking a look at every physical, emotional, and spiritual aspect of individual then identifies the balance of tridoshas.

Once the predominance of Doshas the imbalance are identified, the Ayurvedic Consultants can then suggest mental and physical, dos and don’ts with proper medications after proper ruling out the reasons.
